We’ve been gone on our annual trek into the wilderness for the last week and there’s laundry to do and photos to sort and gear to de-funk and emails (and emails and emails…) to read.
And next week is back to work and back to summer camp and there will be school supplies to buy and second(!) grade to look forward to and all the busy-ness that comes with this time of year.
But today? I went on a Saturday morning, Farmers’ Market date with this kid. We haven’t done it nearly enough this summer, and it was a nice way to break up all the napping I plan to do this weekend and procrastinate a bit longer on the growing To Do List that awaits me in the real world of adulting.
Buddy, thanks for today.
