It's been a long time coming, and has been an absolute labor of love — and I'm thrilled we can finally announce it to everyone.
The 1LT Tom Martin Memorial Foundation
When Tom was killed in 2007, our family cooperated with the founding of the 1LT Tom Martin Memorial Scholarship through Cabot High School in Cabot, Arkansas. The scholarship has been awarded for the past three years and we've been thrilled to support the efforts of the Cabot Scholarship Foundation.
But as the years passed, we felt strongly there were bigger opportunities for Tom's legacy. So The 1LT Tom Martin Memorial Foundation was born. The scholarship still exists and will still support a graduate of Cabot High School, Tom's alma mater. But we intend to broaden the scope to include other ways to support young leaders serving their communities.

And – as always – thank you for all the thoughts and prayers of support over the years.
When you remember me, it means that you have carried something of who I am with you, that I have left some mark of who I am on who you are. It means that you can summon me back to your mind even though countless years and miles may stand between us. It means that if we meet again, you will know me. It means that even after I die, you can still see my face and hear my voice and speak to me in your heart. For as long as you remember me, I am never entirely lost.
