Give a girl a break. This might be the longest I've gone without blogging in YEARS. Ten days is pretty much an eternity in Blogland and for the delay, I apologize.
Don't take this the wrong way, but I've had better things to do the last ten days. Well, sadly, that's only partially true. The last ten days have been largely monopolized by an exceptionally thoughtless and insensitive yuckiness. Jeff is usually the one sick during Christmas, but this year he let me do the honors. But I managed to keep the yuckiness mostly to myself, so that's a plus. I refrained from kissing on Colt – as much. And I tried not to sneeze directly at Jeff. Hey – it's just the three of us around here and we spend most of our free time within ten feet of each other. I think I may have snort-laughed when the doctor suggested I "stay isolated".
And other than that – well, there was CHRISTMAS. Which required us to drive over 1300 miles through three states over six days. And take over 400 pictures. Which I am still sorting and editing… So expect to OD on those come Monday.
At this point, I'd say I'm back to about 90%, health-wise. But only about 70%, sanity-wise. Jeff and I both have the week off, but so does Colt. Let's just say yesterday's freakishly warm temperatures allowed for some outside time that EVERYONE needed.
Did you see what I did there? I've only really caught you up to about last Thursday or so. Paving the way for some hearty blogging next week. (And placing uncomfortable pressure on myself to blog regularly (daily?) right out of the 2011 gate.) We shall see.
