New Entry! Christmas was fun. Getting to see everyone is nice every now and then . And I somehow managed to bring the San Antonio weather back with me, it's been so nice here! AND I had time in Dallas to go to the Haagen-Dazs (spelling?) place in Terminal C where I enjoyed a Rocky Road Dazzler.  For those of you less fortunate folks who have not experienced the Dazzler, it is a couple heaping scoops of Rocky Road ice cream covered in Hot Fudge Sauce and topped with Oreo Cookie pieces.  It is heaven on earth.

So, I am a college graduate. Which isn't as exciting as everyone made me think it might be. I don't have jack to do during the day anymore, I don't have health insurance, or the Health Center to go to anymore. And no job. So, now instead of being a college student/bartender/waitress I'm a college graduate/bartender/waitress. It gets a funny look from people. And all I heard from people for the last few years was that I should graduate and move on and do the next thing, yadda yadda yadda. Now that I've finished, my friends that graduated "on time" and have "real jobs" tell me how much it sucks and how I should have stayed in school. Being a grown up is no fun sometimes.

I am the current high bidder on a pair of George Strait concert tickets and am pretty pumped about it. I've never bid on anything on Ebay before but pledge not to become a junkie like Laura and Mom!

Happy New Year!

  1. I understand the whole graduation thing.  Not nearly as exciting as high school.  Your title “graduate/waitress/bartender” is a little more impressive than my “graduate/private horn lesson teacher” and probably pulls in a few more dollars a week.

Good luck with the job hunt! and Happy New Year!

  2. I am not an ebay “junkie…”  However, I do have a new ebay Mastercard- which is way cute!  :)

    Ok, maybe I am a junkie…

  3. Survey says?

  4. I’m not an Ebay junkie — however, if you win the tickets — I’d gladly accompany you!!!!  Love, Mom
