In order to follow some good advice I received recently, I have decided to make some changes in hopes that my attitude and overall demeanor will improve.  I have quit my job at Cool Water and start at Outback Steakhouse on 1 August.  The reasons for that are varied, but most of all I feel like I need something different.  I’ve decided that drinking isn’t the MOST fun I can have and should be used sparingly as a way to pass the time.  I also recently made the decision to graduate– I’m pretty sure this change will have the most impact on things and I’m more and more excited about it all the time.  Summer school is going well. I am dog tired almost every day, but I’ll survive.  Sleeping in on Saturday morning is something I crave all week long.  No more sleeping till noon 7 days a week!   I’ve been sleeping ok at night, which is unusual.  Hopefully the new job will help with that, too.  Outback isn’t open as late as CW so I’ll be home earlier.

I miss my dog, and I wish he could live with me. And I also wish my family lived close enough that I could meet them for dinner sometime– but you gotta work with what ya got, right?
