I just got back from hand-delivering a piece of mail across campus. Not like we have a campus post office… The good news is that I went by the food court on my way back to the office and the food court is now accepting Visa and Mastercard! It’s about time, that’s what say! But it’s big news, nonetheless. No more $3 and $4 checks to write!
Drama all around the past few days. There’s FYE drama at the office, which is slowly but surely turning into a big stupid mess. It’s complicated and trivial and ridiculous. No one’s really stepping up to be in charge of the big stupid mess, so it’s only going to get worse as the summer unfolds.
Last night, I couldn’t have been more ready to get the hell out of Cool Water. It was Bike Nite so everyone was a little busier and stressier than usual. Sometimes, I think everyone should just take a breather. Last night, everyone decided to be pissy instead and I wasn’t going to stand for it. I bailed out early and went to Dickson Street, which I so rarely get to do– especially before midnight or so. So that was fun. Ran into my EL mentee Allison, Ross Vandever, David Watkins, my old roommate Pam, and Tim Kenny who I haven’t seen in an eternity. I think Pam and Tim and company are coming to visit me tonight at CW. Lesleigh was trying her damndest to start some catty drama with Tara and Keith last night and Keith offended our new friend TJ but it was really fun. Got home later than planned and am not feeling 100% today but I’m planning on getting a nap in before work today so that should help.
I thought about going to SA for the Spurs game next week, but plans fell through. Which is probably for the best– I don’t want to catch the Spurs craziness…
“And if you wanna hear God laugh, tell him your plans”
FYE drama? Do tell!
Sarah, I think you have magnetic powers over Cabot folk.
